Apply for 2018 ACRC Training Course for International Anti-Corruption Practitioners

We are now receiving applications for the 2018 ACRC Training Course for International Anti-Corruption Practitioners to be held on 7-16 May 2018 in Korea.

The ACRC has organized the annual training course to help build anti-corruption capacity of public officials from around the world since 2013. The training course aims to improve practical knowledge and skills needed to develop and implement anti-corruption policies.

The 2018 training program will focus on Chapter 2 (Preventive Measures) and Chapter 5 (Asset Recovery) of the United Nations Convention against Corruption by addressing topics such as evaluation of the implementation of anti-corruption policies, assessment of corruption risks in laws, protection of whistleblowers, anti-corruption training, and asset recovery.

The applicant should be a working-level official of an anti-corruption agency or other government organization responsible for preventing or investigating corruption; be fluent in English; be selected by the organization that he or she belongs to, and recommended by the head of the organization.

Airfare and accommodation will be covered by the ACRC for the participants from developing countries that are on the OECD DAC (Development Assistance Committee) List: http://www.oecd.org/dac/stats/daclist.htm
