Deputy Minister D.V. Singh of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension visited the ACRC and held a meeting with the head of the Ombudsman Bureau on 3 April. As the first foreign delegation to the ACRC since its inception his visit held a special meaning that may deepen the already established bilateral ties between the two institutions. In the meeting Director General Yong Soo Park briefed the Minister on the background of the ACRC"s embarkation along with the overall policy direction of the new administration that aims at achieving a small but efficient government. While recognizing the need of further cooperation in the area of complaints handling, the Minister and the Director General agreed on developing mutually beneficial relationships in both high and working levels in the future.
