The first RETA Study Tour was carried out in Korea from November 30th to December 4th. There were 6 participants with 5 policymakers from the Asian Ombudsman Association member institutes (Pakistan, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand) and 1 in charge of RETA program from the Asia Development Bank that provided funding for the program. The RETA Study Tour is designed to boost mutual understanding and cooperation among AOA members by educating them and sharing best practices in complaints resolution. Also, the RETA program is carried out to give an opportunity to share opinion between participants and policymakers of the organization that holds the RETA program.
