Launch of Policy Forum to Realize Transparent and Trustworthy Society

On the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9th, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) said Policy Forum to Realize Transparent and Trustworthy Society (hereinafter referred to as Policy Forum) will be launched .


 


Policy Forum is designed to collect opinions of all walks of life and come up with cooperation base in society to enhance transparency and trust, which are main ingredients in national competitiveness. Participants of Policy Forum include 23 organizations from 9 fields such as the political, economic and public sectors, as well as civil society.   


 


Through the launch of the Forum, the ACRC will send out the message that to build a transparent and advanced country, it helps promote voluntary cooperation among different sectors, and the government and various organizations join forces to tackle corruption.  


 


In its inaugural session, the Policy Forum will elect its first president, and discuss about basic operation plan and operation rules. The functions of the Forum include identification of agendas to build a transparent and trustworthy, proposal of a variety of improvement tasks and coordination of cooperation issues of different sectors.
