ACRC Chairman Lee Jae Oh met Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Asha-Rose Migiro at the UN Headquarters in New York on May 27 to explain about Korea’s integrity policies and anti-corruption activities. He asked for the interest and understanding in the recent incident concerning sinking of the South Korean naval vessel Cheonan as it is an issue not only to Koreans but to the whole humanity and thus sanction is needed at the UN level. 

He also asked for UN’s cooperation in the G20 summit which is to be held in Korea in upcoming November and gave her a memorial tablet.
