The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of Korea is going to host the "Symposium on Strengthening Global Leadership and Cooperation against Corruption" on October 5-6 in Seoul this year.

The symposium, organized in cooperation with OECD/Korea Policy Centre, will bring together representatives of G20 and APEC member economies, anti-corruption practitioners, and international experts.

Ahead of the G20 Seoul Summit in November, the symposium will provide an opportunity to explore the strategies to ensure effective implementation of anti-corruption policy, and to suggest a way forward for the leadership and collaboration of the countries that are taking the lead in the fight against corruption.

The agenda will include:

  • - Formulation and development of international anti-corruption regimes

  • - Best practices of anti-corruption policy and efforts to raise integrity in major countries, and

  • - Roles of leading counties in the anti-corruption field for increased transparency in the international community
